HOCKEY REGISTRATION FOR THE 2022/23 season is now open!
2023/24 TeamSnap Registration Link
The 2023/24 GVMHA registration is completed online using TeamSnap.
Payment can be processed via credit card at checkout or by e-transfer at checkout.
Installment option is available for both methods of payment with 1/3 due at registration, 1/3 on or before August 15th and the remaining 1/3 due on or before September 15th.
NEW PLAYERS
New Players will need to complete the following steps so an HCR ID can be generated prior to registration taking place:
- HCR Registration Form
- Copy of Players Birth Certificate
- Copy of Players Care Card
- Proof of Address

We will get back to you with the HCR ID needed to complete registration on TeamSnap.

MOVING TO VERNON from another Association
If moving in from another Association please complete this form MOVE WITH PARENT FORM and email it to administrator@gvmha.com with subsequent proof of residency in GVMHA boundaries. Documents should include a Purchase, Rental or Tenancy Agreement, Utility bill showing parents name and new address, driver's license showing parent name and new address and/or Canada Post change of address.
FEMALE PLAYERS
GVMHA plans to host the following female teams in 2022/23:
U9 Female
U11 Female Recreation
U13 Female Recreation
U15 Female A (OMAHA Okanagan-North Program hosted by GVMHA)
TRYOUT PLAYERS FROM ADJACENT ASSOCIATION
Players wanting to tryout for Rep hockey in Vernon from an adjacent Association, must pre-register with their home Association and submit with the Permission to Tryout Form (for U15 and U18 teams) and the Residential Waiver - Carded Teams form (for U13) to GVMHA before August 15th. Tryout fee of $175 must be e-transferred to accountant@gvmha.com
RECREATION PLAYERS FROM ADJACENT ASSOCIATIONS
Residential Waiver - Recreation Teams
If coming to Vernon to play on a recreation team from an Adjacent Association. Home Association must declare No Team in Category.
Please note - if you are playing in Vernon on a "Residential Waiver" you MUST register with your home Association prior to being able to apply for a "Residential Waiver" transfer for each season. Your Hockey Canada profile automatically returns to your home Association database at the end of every season.
JUNIOR PLAYERS/BCEHL/OMAHA ZONE PROGRAM
For GVMHA members who wish to try-out for Junior Hockey, BC Hockey Regional Programs or OMAHA Zone Teams and intend to play in Vernon should you not make one of those teams; we recommend pre-registering with GVMHA and sending an email to administrator@gvmha.com expressing your intention to tryout at a higher level. Fee's will not be due and payable unless you return to play in Vernon, but you will have a spot secured.

Financial Assistance
Grindstone Award Foundation - Assistance with Female Hockey Registration
The Grindstone Award Foundation enables young female players the opportunity to participate and improve their skill development in the sport of hockey. We provide financial support to young female hockey players who have the desire to play but are unable to for financial reasons.
The KidSport Program provides grants to help cover the costs of registration fees to that all kids aged 18 and under in Vernon can play a season of sport.
Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program
Founded in 2005, Jumpstart helps kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation in an effort to provide inclusive play for kids of all abilities.
A4K's mission is to ensure all BC kids can participate in organized sports by supporting families in need with financial assistance.
The Team Rogers Community Draft is helping kids get more from the games they love, when and where it is safe to do so. We’re making it possible by giving them exclusive access to pro athlete mentorship, virtual experiences, and by making contributions towards program fees.
