HOCKEY REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026/27 season will open June 1st at noon!

The 2026/2027 GVMHA registration is completed online using a computer or tablet (not your phone) utilizing the TeamSnap platform.

Payment can be processed using credit card at checkout or by e-transfer following checkout.

Installment options are available for both methods of payment with 1/3 due at registration1/3 on or before July 31 and the remaining 1/3 due on or before Aug 31. The credit card method is done automatically. The e-transfer method needs to be done manually by you the parent.

The 1/3 minimum due at registration is REQUIRED even if you are applying for financial assistance in order to receive the early bird discount. The only exception is players trying out for U15 AF , U15AA and U18AA teams who may be released back to the association.

Before completing payment, please contact the administrator if you have adjustemnts required for 3rd or more player(s) in a family.

NEW PLAYERS

New Players will need to complete the following steps so an HCR ID can be generated prior to registration taking place:

  • HCR Registration Form
  • Picture of Players Birth Certificate (Front Only)
  • Pictures of Players BC Care Card (Front and Back)
  • Proof of Address -Picture (Parent Drivers Licence w/address, Utility bill, Bill of sale, Lease or Rental agreement)

We will get back to you with the HCR ID needed to complete registration on TeamSnap.

RESPECT IN SPORT- PARENT

All GVMHA families are required to take the Respect in Sport Parent Course.  This is a one time requirement.

Certification is linked to your child's HCR File.  For new families, please ensure you have a valid HCR number for your child prior to taking the Respect in Sport Parent Course.  The course must be completed by your child's first ice time.

U18 SAFE SPORT TRAINING

All U18 players must complete Safe Sport Education for Youth Training prior to October 1st.  This is a free program recognized by national sport governing bodies.  The program covers topics such as:

  • Bullying
  • Hazing
  • Boundary Transgressions
  • Grooming
  • Discrimination, Phychological and Physical Maltreatment
  • Neglect, Maltreatment and Microaggression
  • Reporting and Support

The program produces a completion certificate.  Please keep your certificate on file for verification.
